We welcome applications from all interested students. Studying
at tertiary level is challenging: success requires dedication, perseverance,
commitment to study and good time-management skills.
The College has an open entry policy. Approximately 40 places are
available each year. Applicants should have good communication skills
in English. Where English is a second language students must meet
the Academic IELTS overall band standard of 6.0 or its equivalent.
Australian students are accepted in the College but must have resided
in NZ for 2 years to be eligible for student allowances. They may
be eligible for Student Loans.
International students are accepted as fulltime students.

Each semester, applicants must complete an Enrolment Form, supply
the required documentation, and pay the registration fee. Click
here to download the enrolment form in PDF format.
To complete enrolment, the balance of fees must be paid by the due
date.
Preference will be given to full-time students and to applicants in
order of the date of receipt of their enrolment application.
The Board of Trustees of the College reserves the right to refuse
admission to an applicant where it considers they are not suitable.
SPCNT reserves the right to cancel classes if the minimum number of
enrolments is not met.

- Credit transfer is the granting of credit in recognition of
prior formal education, successfully completed within the last
5 years. Application must be supported by a transcript or other
formal statement of achievement which shows a pass in an equivalent
course at the appropriate level.
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) credit is the granting of
credit following an assessment in respect of prior learning based
on life experience, work experience, informal education/training
and/or formal education/training. Application must be supported
by proof of ability to meet the learning outcomes of the course.

- Credit transfers/RPL credits will only be considered for courses
taught in Years 1 and/or 2 unless a student has a degree, or its
equivalent, in the course, from an approved institution.
- Credit transfer/RPL credit will be awarded to whole courses
only and only on presentation of detailed evidence.
- A maximum of 12 courses will be awarded by credit transfer and/or
RPL credit.
- For a credit transfer to be considered a student should apply
on the appropriate form within 10 teaching days after enrolling.
Application for a credit transfer/RPL costs $50 per course.
