Attendance at Weekend workshops
Weekend workshops are designed to assist your study. You will meet your lecturers and be able to get assistance in aspects of the course, such as how to study and how to write assignments.     Attendance at  ALL distance learning workshop sessions are compulsory for the course Therapeutic Massage.  Attendance at the workshops for all other subjects is optional  but highly recommended.

Here is a testimonial from a student who studied the first and second year by distance, and has moved to Auckland in 2012 to study for her final year.

"I feel that they give you an opportunity to meet and greet your lecturers and just make sure that you are on the right track. Also i think the social aspect is really important as ultimately you are going to end up in class for third year and makes it so much easier to have a few buddies when you arrive. I know that the distance weekends sometimes caused a few issues with social engagements but once you're there you realise the importance of them. One other thing, I definitely think it is really cool to be surrounded by other students as it only increases your passion for what you are doing. "

Distance Learning Weekends   2012:

Semester Two:    August 11-12;  October 13-14      *additional Therapeutic Massage dates to be confirmed
